Privacy Policy
We take online privacy seriously
Hello!
To be honest and clear, I operate a policy of respect and decency where your personal information is concerned. I only ask for a bare minimum of information from you, mainly so I can send you something that you have requested and can help you further develop your visual understanding and photo usage.
I take care of your data. I keep it safe and I’ll only offer it to others if you have requested a service that I have a collaborative outsource to. In other words, you have asked me to.
Please be assured that I’ll never share your information other than the above and I wont I sell it to any other company, business or commercial entity.
Overview of where I collect data
Your privacy is important to me. My privacy policy has been prepared in line with the UK’s GDPR which promotes fairness and transparency for all individuals in respect of their personal data. This policy applies to all the data I process, and by using Suzanne Fells Photography you consent to my collection and use of such data. If you have any questions to ask, please feel free to drop me an email and I'll answer directly to you.
By completing either a contact form/ request for information, booking a call or subscribing to a newsletter with ’Suzanne Fells Photography’, you are consenting to the collection and use of your information and data under the terms of this privacy policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy then I advise you not to use this website or to make contact with me in another way.
What data I collect and why?
In order to provide high-quality goods and services for you, in line with my package offers, I collect a variety of data which I manage fairly and securely. This is called ‘Visitor data’.
This is the data I may collect :
Your full name
Email address
Home address and postcode (where relevant)
Addresses and postcodes of shoot locations
Names of any third parties, your clients that may be included in your photographs.
Mobile phone number(s)
With every shoot booking there is an official contract from me / Suzanne Fells Photography, including my T&C’s.
My T&C’s are extensive and should be fully understood prior to agreeing a shoot/shoot plan. They are detailed to protect us both. Any questions, please contact me for further clarification.
The above data is collected to ensure I can communicate with you effectively regarding all aspects of your shoot, whether by email, phone or a zoom call. I will only ever request a home address should I be photographing at your home as part of your agreed shoot plan.
I collect data on the basis of consent (when you enquire about my services and would like to know more) and to fulfil a contract (if you decide to go ahead and book a branding photography shoot with me, or purchase any other product/service listed by ‘Suzanne Fells Photography’.
Third party data share and how I keep your data safe
This is contained to an absolute minimum. I collect data via a ‘SquareSpace’ website contact form and through ‘Calendly’ meeting scheduling. This ensures an easy and quick system for you to make contact with me, either by email or by booking an online call/zoom meeting. I clear these down from time to time.
I also collect data through my website for ‘downloadables’ and sign up PDF’s for my newsletters. The direct mail automated system I use is ‘Intuit MailChimp’, in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms. Far greater detail can be discovered at https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/. and https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/. By subscribing to my mailing list you are agreeing that you are happy for us to make contact with you via email with products, offers and any deals we have to share. There is a clear and easy way to unsubscribe from my newsletters. Should you change your mind, at any point, regarding receiving content from ‘Suzanne Fells Photography’, simply click the ‘unsubscribe’ link contained within the footer of every email sent out to you. I will be notified by email and you will be removed from any future emails from us. It’s easy and I respect your decision to change your mind.
I use ‘Calendly’ to schedule meetings with you, my potential clients. In order to do so I need to request a very bare minimum information from you in order to communicate easily and effectively. This is held privately and securely by me alone, on my computer mail system. Periodically these emails are reviewed and permanently deleted. Should you wish to understand more with regards to Calendlys own privacy policy, it is held here for you:- https://calendly.com/privacy
Your photo edits are held on a ‘Flickr pro account’. This is private to yourself and can be deleted on request. This provides you with an easy-access visual online system for you to view and discuss final photos with your team, website developer and/or myself. This is the only online outsource storage facility I use. It holds low resolution images in private password-protected viewing galleries only and NOT final photographs. Again more information can be acquired via https://www.flickr.com/help/privacy
Your final completed photos are held on two separate ‘Seagate’ in house/ office storage devices, that mirror content to each other. I hold full branding shoots for 5 years only and backed up. This ensures, should you misplace your photos, I have copies stored for you. I can also undertake any future re-work, resize of images immediately, from these master files, and easily should you request it. I can also send images directly to external sources for you to maximise their impact and not compromise your image quality and brand.
All my systems are password protected.
I do not hold data on any other systems.
I do not share any other information with other suppliers.
I may suggest that you consider working with a stylist or website developer. In this instance, I provide contact details for you to make that initial contact.. I never pass information to suppliers unless you express the desire for me to do so.
My computers hold your data, are password protected and only accessible by myself.
In the unlikely event of an information breach you will be the first to know after I have reported losses to the relevant party.
Privacy policy changes
I may change this privacy policy from time to time. When I do, I will let you know by changing the date on this policy, notifying customers of only significant changes. The date of any changes will be visible on my website.
By continuing to access or use my services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised privacy policy.
