So many successful women in business have written their strategy for 2024, But I wonder IF within that strategy there is a section for photography and photo use? If you have considered photographs at all? I am guessing it might be something like this :- (unless of course you are one of my clients!)

Photography Strategy :-

  • To take phone photos at events that illustrate your business.

  • Take selfies when you have something to say.

  • Get stuck on a topic, Google a stock photo and add it appropriately.

  • Not bother- I’ll make it up on the hoof!

Do not worry you aren't alone here. And talking 'photography strategy' seems a bit woke for many businesses leaders. But why not? Photography usage is as important as any content you create for an article, website, blog, podcast slide, presentation.

Photos have the same level of relevance and so why not consider what your strategy might be?

The sad reality is that so many businesses STILL aren't aware that photos have any real significance.

And yet it has been proven. Scientifically. How the brain reacts in split seconds to visual stimulus.

Your brain reacts immediately to photographs and subconsciously.

So many founders have told me they will commission a branding shoot when they have 'made more money?' Like it's a reward for an achievement? And not that it is a significant contributor that will drive traffic to their posts and help them make more money?

Because we all have phone cameras we think we all are 'adequately equipped' in representing our business. We accept phone photos daily but they simply don't add status to your brand.
