Are you a successful female trauma coach or author? Here’s why you need a branding shoot.

My client, TEDx speaker/ successful trauma coach and author, Cath Lloyd of, 'When dad becomes Joan', the story of her father's transgender journey, has just written and launched another book!

And I was proud to be commissioned to photograph her new book launch.

These new branding photos she will add in to her first branding shoot folio, taken last year with me.

It’s so important to celebrate key moments of success in your career journey. Record them well and with high quality photos and you just give your award or new book so much more visual exposure and credibility.

Cath writes from as much experience in her second book as in her first.

  • It is just emotionally incredible.

  • She draws on her own personal journey.

  • About recovery from a life trauma that no parent should have to go through.

  • Her son had a tragic mountain bike accident breaking his neck and leaving him with life-changing injuries.

Cath's new book ‘4 steps to emotional freedom’, takes you through a circuit of stages to break the pain of repetitive behaviour, whatever your trauma, large or small.

Cath has learned to live with her own trauma and pain. It's immediately apparent when you meet her and have read her book. But otherwise you just wouldn't know...

I bought a copy and the pages turned fast. I...could...not...put...the..book...down. Despite my busy working day, I paused, read it, page by page, until it was done.

I wanted to read it before her shoot to know her better.

It changed how I felt about Cath.

It is personal.

It is raw in places.

I felt that I knew her on a whole new level.

I looked at her differently when I entered the room to photograph her for a second time.

Then came the launch event. I drove along the M6 , concentrating hard not to get lost around the Birmingham 'Spaghetti junction'. section. I have always driven extensively in all my work. I consider myself a confident driver . I LOVE and thrive on a road trip anywhere . I’ve driven thousands of miles for business. Many of them in the wrong direction!. I always set off early to compensate.

Last year I shot the amazing Cath Lloyds branding photography and now back again, a year later, to shoot the launch of her equally powerful second book.

This is common with clients. They start to use professional photos regularly, enjoy an increased visibiity level and there is no holding them back.

Cath writes, '4 Steps to Emotional Freedom was born out of two massive changes that were thrust into my life:-

In 1987 my dad suddenly announced his heart-wrenching decision to undergo gender reassignment treatment.

Thirty years later in 2017, my son had a tragic mountain bike accident breaking his neck and leaving him with life-changing injuries.

Meet and talk to Cath you have little perception of the trauma she has experienced. She is upbeat, happy and thoroughly willing to help you, in anything you want. She is light and humorous to work around. A true and successful female business leader.

Read her books and you open to experience a whole new dimension and understanding surrounding her and the reason she makes an incredible and successful trauma coach. We all have had behaviour that repeats because we feel unable to break the circuit.

This new book helps you break a circuit of problematic and unhelpful behaviour

I recommend you buy a copy. Have a read. I bet you will struggle to put to down just like me.

No matter your story or event, I have a visualisation and a set of photos for you to describe your journey….

Chances are…

You’re a fantastic business leader but are struggling to connect online. You know you want to make more impact and truly make a difference but aren’t sure how…

I’ll show you the way and stay until you get it!

It all starts with a chat…
